Grim trades fur, and cloth. He also makes gloves and clothing.
In dangerous times, of course, you must be able to defend
yourself.
He prefers to fight with a long spear, or an axe and shield. Spears of course
are made to be thrown as well as poked with, so he throws javelins too.
A farmaður, he travels often throughout the Northlands trading and fighting
the local people.
History
Grim Ragnarsson, third son of an Icelandic farmer Ragnar Olafsson.
The farm in Bakkagerdi in the north east of Iceland was too small to provide
a decent living for the family.
Grim was given funds to arm himself and buy some of the shaggy wool which
Icelandic weavers were famous, and was taken on board a ship to go 'a viking'.
He had a good voyage.
Then Grim spent time raiding and trading in Ireland, and the west coast
of Britian. Finally settling in the north west of England, he joined a raiding
party, eventually ending up in London where he bought some land in the town
for a building.
Grim fought for a local warlord, Thorbjorn of the Temesvikings, before moving
to a farm of his own and joining the rest of Haukur
