Who is Haukur

Haukur portrays a group of mercenary warriors, who are Viking in heritage, who have banded together to fight for whoever pays them the most money at that specific point in time.

The warriors who form the group have various fighting skills, each with their own preferred weapon, be that long spear, sword or bow.

Within the Vikings craft and day to day living play an important part in the portrayal of this fascinating group of people. The Vikings were a creative race, who were highly artistic and not just a bunch of blood-thirsty people. Having said that Haukur’s focus is on combat, though we have a tailor and fur-trader in our ranks. This may evolve over time, and we can turn our hands to most things, including woodwork, leatherwork and metals. Anything we don’t know enough about to assist you with, we can find someone in the Vike to assist you as a mentor.

Children are welcome and can take an active role in the action, depending on their age!
