Combat

We are primarily a combat group and The Vikings takes great pride in its realistic displays, as well as authenticity at each stage of its show. We fight with authentic weapons, but without the sharp edge, and although we may look like we are inflicting serious amounts of pain to each other we all go through rigorous training to ensure there are no major injuries.

There are a range of weapons we use including:
• Sword
• Hand axe
• Dane Axe
• Longbow
• Short spear
• Long spear
• Seax
• Javelins

Within Haukur all of these weapons are used.
